What happens when you exceed the limit

Requests over quota return HTTP 429 with a body like:

Response headers tell you when to retry:

X-RateLimit-Limit: 100        # daily quota
X-RateLimit-Remaining: 0      # remaining today
Retry-After: 3600             # seconds to wait before retrying

Best practices

Retry 429 and 5xx with exponential backoff, honoring Retry-After (the official SDKs do this for you)
Schedule batch jobs for off-peak hours, or self-throttle at 5 req/s (Free) / 10 req/s (Hobby)
Check daily usage anytime in the Dashboard (per-day counts for the last 7 days)
